Light, routine tasks necessary for maintaining a tidy environment during an event. It is more limited than roles like General Cleaner, which involve broader cleaning responsibilities across multiple spaces. This is perfect for clients looking for minimal support, specifically around event cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Sweeping & Light Cleaning: Sweep floors and clear any debris in event spaces to maintain cleanliness throughout the event.
Trash Collection: Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed, ensuring waste is promptly removed from the event area.
Spot Cleaning: Quickly address minor spills or messes on floors or tables, ensuring that surfaces remain clean and safe.
General Tidying: Straighten or adjust chairs, tables, and event materials to maintain a neat appearance as needed.
Waste Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with event guidelines, ensuring no clutter or waste accumulates.
Basic Event Assistance: Provide support to event staff by helping clear minor items or rearranging furniture as needed to maintain order during the event.
Requirements
Previous understanding of basic sanitation procedures. - Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
Willing to pivot work tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Physical ability to lift/carry heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time.
Maintain a positive attitude and high standard for cleaning and appearance.
