Jitjatjo is looking for hard-working and reliable Janitors and Custodians to join our team.

Janitors/Custodians assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining designated facility areas for appearance and sanitation. Successful Talent work hard with limited supervision, are comfortable with minor physical activity for extended periods, and ensure proper upkeep of the location's appearance.

Clean and maintain designated areas using various methods and supplies.

Responsibilities

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
Emptying trash cans.
Washing and drying windows.
Liaising with the manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.
Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
Informing the manager of repairs required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cleaner or Janitor/Custodian.
Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks with strong attention to detail.
Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols.
Excellent time-management and organization skills.
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time.
