Cashier
Jitjatjo is looking for energetic team members who are passionate about customer service.
Cashiers process transactions in a friendly and efficient manner using a cash register or other point-of-sale (POS) system. Successful Talent are helpful, courteous, and demonstrate a strong service ethic while managing payment transactions, resolving issues, and satisfy customer requests.
Handling payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. In addition to handling cash and electronic payments, ensure a smooth transaction experience for every guest. Expertise in using various POS systems.
Responsibilities
* Point of Sale (POS) System Operation: Process transactions quickly and accurately using various POS systems (cash, credit cards, mobile payments, etc.).
* Payment Handling: Accept payments, provide change, process refunds or exchanges, and ensure all transactions are correct.
* Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide assistance with their purchases as needed.
* Cash Management: Maintain proper cash handling protocols, including balancing cash drawers, counting change, and securely handling money.
* Transaction Accuracy: Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and discrepancies are addressed immediately.
* Sales Support: Upsell or suggest additional products/services when appropriate to enhance the customer experience.
* Receipt and Documentation: Issue receipts for all transactions, ensure proper documentation for returns and exchanges and keep accurate records.
* Customer Service: Resolve any customer concerns or complaints regarding pricing, refunds, or product availability.
* Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the checkout area neat, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies, such as bags, receipts, and change.
* Security: Follow security protocols to safeguard against theft and ensure that all transactions are securely processed.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Cashier or Retail Sales Associate.
Willingness to work in large venues, stadiums, convention centers, etc.
Good math skills.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
Ability to follow directions and manage time effectively.
Be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and lifting potentially heavy items while interacting with customers.
Understand common retail technology like POS systems, registers, scanners, calculators, smartphones, tablets, and computers.
An outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and an interest in interacting with customers.
Have great communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
