Counter Staff

Jitjatjo is looking for energetic team members who are passionate about customer service.

Counter Staff manage all transactions and product service with customers quickly and accurately. These positions are often taking place in large venues such as stadiums, convention centers, and festivals. Successful Talent maintain a professional and friendly attitude while interacting with customers to properly manage payment transactions, issues, and requests.

Managing high-volume customer interactions in a fast-paced environment, often at large events, stadiums, or arenas. Work quickly and efficiently while ensuring that the work area is kept organized and stocked. Handling customer orders, processing electronic payments, and assisting with any guest concerns in a high-demand setting.

Responsibilities

  • * Customer Service: Provide friendly, fast, and courteous service to all customers, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive experience.

  • * Order Processing: Accurately take and fulfill customer orders, ensuring that orders are delivered as requested and in a timely manner.

  • * POS Operation: Use POS systems to process payments quickly, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, with a primary focus on electronic payment methods.

  • * Efficiency in High-Volume Settings: Manage peak traffic times with a sense of urgency while maintaining excellent customer service and a calm demeanor.

  • * Cash Handling (if applicable): For locations requiring cash payments, process transactions with accuracy and follow cash handling protocols.

  • * Inventory Management: Keep the counter area well-stocked with products or materials needed for service, ensuring that everything is readily available for customers.

  • * Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized counter area to ensure a smooth workflow and a pleasant environment for customers.

  • * Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer complaints or issues quickly, either independently or by escalating to management when needed.

  • * Team Collaboration: Work alongside other staff members to ensure efficient operation, especially during busy periods, and assist with tasks as needed.

  • * Safety Protocols: Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines (if applicable) to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work in large venues (stadium, concession, convention center, or similar) - Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized. - Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including; walking, standing, and lifting potentially heavy items while interacting with customers. - Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers. - Great communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
