Jitjatjo is looking for energetic team members who are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to guests.
Butlers provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process and assist with many operational tasks in the banquet area. Successful Talent present themselves in a professional manner and anticipate guest's needs.
Buffet, banquet, and synchronized service. Setup/breakdown.
Responsibilities
Perform pre- and post-event setup, breakdown, cleaning responsibilities.
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
Be familiar enough with the event's menu and specials to make recommendations and answer questions.
Take customer orders and make adjustments as needed.
Serve food and drinks to guests quickly through various dining styles (i.e. buffet, plated, passed, family style).
Pour and refill guest beverages throughout the service.
Remove used dishware and maintain a tidy table for guests while dining.
Work with fellow teammates (i.e. bussers, bartenders, captains, runners, chefs) to ensure all of the guests needs are met in a timely manner.
Remain positive and friendly when responding to customer complaints or issues.
Assist with opening and closing duties such as prepping tables, dining areas, and ensuring items are stocked.
Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking guidelines are met.
Adhere to the dress code, appearance, and grooming standards specified by management.
Requirements
Deep passion for hospitality.
Previous butler, banquet server, waitstaff, or bartending experience within a restaurant or with a catering company.
Experience serving guests during large events a major plus.
Attention to cleanliness and safety.
Patience and customer-oriented approach.
Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
Responsible, trustworthy, and team player qualities.
Physical ability and stamina to stand for long periods of time and carry/lift heavy items.
