Prepare menu items by following recipes for coffee drinks, such as, tea, latte, and cappuccino.

Prepare and serve basic food items upon request.

Provide fast and friendly customer service while keeping a positive attitude with teammates.

Constantly maintain cleanliness and appearance for guest and crew areas.

Enter orders and collect customer payments in location's POS system.

Keep coffee machines and equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.

Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress.

Hands-on experience with coffee machines and brewing equipment.

Experience with basic food preparation (i.e. pastries) and coffee drinks.

Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations.

Flexibility to work various shifts (i.e. early mornings).

Basic math skills and computer skills. Previous POS system experience preferred.

Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.

Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including: walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time.
