Kitchen Assistants are the backbone to maintaining a clean and efficient back-of-house. Successful Talent are responsive to requests and great team players.

General Kitchen Support.

Pay rate:

$13.00-$15.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kitchen set up and breakdown
Boxing and unboxing items and food
Preparation of ingredients and equipment
Support cooks/chefs and other kitchen staff as required
Maintaining stock of kitchenware and supplies
Cleaning and organizing kitchens, including dishwashing
Check equipment and report any technical/performance issues

Requirements

Previous work experience in any BOH kitchen role
Hands-on experience with commercial dish washing machines
Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
Attention to detail and time management skills
Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols
Physical ability to regularly lift/carry heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time
