Dishwasher
Jitjatjo is looking for organized and self-motivated team members who are comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
Dishwashers are the backbone of the kitchen operation and help maintain a clean and efficient back-of-house. Successful Talent are a team players and work hard with limited supervision.
Keeps kitchen tidy and uses dish pit to clean used dishware, serveware, and cookware.
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen/dishwashing area
Assist with various tasks and cleaning duties as needed
Collect, load, and wash used kitchenware using commercial machinery or by hand
Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate chinaware)
Maintain stock of clean dishes, serveware, and kichenware as well as cleaning supplies
Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
Remove garbage regularly and sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all storage areas
Requirements
Previous work experience as a dishwasher, porter, or busser
Hands-on experience with commercial dish washing machines
Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Must understand and execute food safety and sanitation protocols
Physical ability to regularly lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time
