Act as the go-to support for bartenders and/or servers behind the bar

Assist with opening and closing duties, such as restocking items and cleaning

Confirm taps and appliances behind the bar are working properly. Sometimes help with minor repairs or keg changes if needed

Constantly maintain bar cleanliness and appearance (i.e. wipe down surfaces, sweep, mop, changeout used glassware, and empty trash bins)

Learn location's menu items to prep for possible customer questions, orders, and item preparation

Support customer service, table bussing, payment processing, etc. during busy times

Report item usage levels to assist in the reordering process and ensure delivered items are stored properly

Be able to multitask while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude and appearance

Basic knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors

Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally

Punctual (be on time)

Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time

Basic math skills are a plus
